- The people here are ever so friendly !! And a different breed altogether - when I am wearing my winter clothes they are still running around in shorts, short sleeves, mini skirts
- Driving not on the right side of the road.......
- Tin openers are working differently , I dare say better than in Germany.
- I dislike roundabouts - there are far too many in this country.
- Plugs and sockets - they are individually fused.

Fish & Chips
Fish & Chips, i.e. fish with English French fries that are more like German Bratkartoffeln, which are eaten with lots of salt and vinegar. You simply have to try that, it is not bad at all, I swear.. You can easily get used to it.
